Oh, hello!

I’m Karina, the human at the canvas.

Like so many artists, I’ve been creating art since I was a child. But here’s my secret – until very recently, I absolutely hated abstract art.

I found abstract art while trying to cope with the pandemic lockdowns. It was my way of staying sane, just smooshing paint around on paper. And it grew into something bigger, something cathartic, something integral to me.

I don’t tell people what I see when I look at my art – I like hearing people’s interpretations and perspectives, seeing how my work has moved them. It tells me more of their story, helps us find a connection.
