Family Portraits

Documenting the love of two people
growing into more love

My family portraits are more about the going ons, the quiet moments, the day-to-day life that you otherwise would try to catch with an iPhone. Life is about the sticking up hair and the squishy toes, the food-covered faces, and the gales of laughter. Things you take for granted at the time, but look back fondly on later. Things you remember with a smile.

THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT THE CHAOS AND THE MESS.
THE FLEETING MOMENTS THAT YOU CAN'T MAKE UP.

My usual family portraits are an on-location, hour-long chunk of time for us to play, grow, eat, laugh, build. My approach to family portraits is the same as my approach to weddings - authenticity, candidness, laughter, fun.

I also offer a half-day shoot (3-4 hours) to document a slice of your everyday life. We choose one of your routines – either getting up and starting your day or winding down to go to sleep – and I come and follow you through your motions. Document those things that seem so routine and mundane now, but tomorrow, you may forget about completely.
